After being diagnosed with breast cancer on Christmas Eve in 2013, Jacquie underwent a mastectomy and breast reconstruction, followed by a course of chemotherapy.
She has now been free of the disease for four years. A passionate supporter of several breast cancer charities, including Breast Cancer Now, which funds research into the disease, Jacquie lives in southwest London with her husband, Eduardo, and their three children.
How would you describe your style?
It ranges from smart but rebellious to unbelievably scruffy. At home, I live in tracksuits or sportswear because as soon as I’m off-air I change out of my suits – not dresses, that’s the rebellious bit – I go straight to the gym then home to walk the dogs, so I usually stay in my gym kit all day.
What are you most particular about?
Skinny jeans. I buy three pairs at the beginning of winter (black) and summer (white) but I research all the new styles first to see the best shape for me – low waisted, because I’ve got a pierced belly button. It used to be Topshop but this year it’s Mango. I don’t like spending more than 30 quid – I’ve one pair of posh jeans by Ted Baker.
