KUCHING: SugarBun Esports Cup Dota 2 Tournament will see 32 teams competing at the preliminaries on May 13 and 14 in Gizmo Arena, One TJ.

The top 16 will compete from May 19 to 21 at Centre Atrium, Vivacity Megamall. One team consists of five people.

“Due to overwhelming response, we plan to organise more such events in future,” said SugarBun marketing manager Sophia Ong at a press conference here yesterday.

The champion will receive RM5,000 cash prize, trophy, individual medals and Logitech peripherals. First runner-up will get RM2,500,  trophy, individual medals and Logitech peripherals.

Second runner-up will get RM1,000 and Logitech peripherals. Third runner-up will be receiving RM500 and Logitech peripherals.

The fifth to eighth placed winners will be given RM150 per team and the nineth to 16th placed winners will get RM50 per team.

Members of public are welcome to watch the tournament in One TJ and Vivacity Megamall.
