HUGHIE FURY is eyeing a world title clash against fellow Brit Anthony Joshua.
The cousin of Tyson Fury has jumped to No5 in the IBF rankings and he is already planning a mouthwatering match-up against the reigning champ.
Joshua currently hold the IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO belts.
Fury has previously challenged for the WBO title when it belonged to Joseph Parker, but lost out on a controversial split decision.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Hughie's dad Peter Fury said: "He's ready. If we could challenge for it tomorrow, we would.
"We're just going to see who we can get, and get him back in the mandatory position as soon as possible.
"We wholeheartedly believe in Hughie and we're looking forward to getting there, but that's not quite going to be yet, so we have to look at the next fight, and take it from there.
"As soon as it comes available, if Hughie is fortunate enough to be in that position, we'll gladly take it."
Fury bounced back from the Parker defeat to KO Sam Sexton last time out and win the British title.
He is now expected to give that up as he looks towards European and then world title challenges.

Joshua, meanwhile, is in limbo as talks over his expected unification scrap against Deontay Wilder rumble on.
There were plans for that to originally take place in September, but AJ's promoter Eddie Hearn says that's now dead in the water.
And according to the Matchroom boss, the blame lies squarely at the feet of Wilder.
Speaking to iFL TV, Hearn said: "Because of how long they’ve [Team Wilder] taken to come back [to us] - September's out. It doesn’t work for US TV, it doesn’t work in a build up sense either.
“We’re looking now, IF we do Wilder, for more like October or November.
“Josh [Joshua] wants to go this fight at Wembley, we all do, but obviously we can’t do the fight at Wembley if it’s not in September."
