Find Out What To Expect From Android P In Our Extensive Guide

With Agents of SHIELD’s season 5 finale being just a few weeks away, as well as Avengers: Infinity War coming out next week, the importance of each episode will only be heightened from here on out. If you don’t think that Agents of SHIELD will find a way to incorporate the most ambitious crossover event in history into its story, then you haven’t been paying attention.

In the last episode, Ruby betrayed her own mother and teamed up with Werner von Strucker. They were then able to corner FitzSimmons and force them to activate the particle infusion chamber that they had just destroyed. Knowing that it will lead to the destruction of the Earth, it only led credence to Fitz’s assertion that time is fixed and they can’t prevent the end of the world.

But that’s where Quake comes in. She went from being intent on not using her powers to being a control freak once Fitz restored them to her. Of course, having Coulson install her as SHIELD’s director while he was gone didn’t help matters, and May believes she’s not ready to take over. Then again, if she lives up to her “Destroyer of Worlds” reputation, she won’t have to.

At this point, SHIELD must feel like they’re increasingly out of options. Here’s the synopsis for “All Roads Lead…” according to TV Guide:

The team must find a way to stop Ruby before the prophesized chain reaction that can destroy the Earth is put into motion.

While they were firmly against each other throughout this season, SHIELD and General Hale must work together to stop Ruby and von Strucker. She might be the only person that’s capable of talking down Ruby from going on a murderous rampage. They can’t turn to Talbot, since he was just brainwashed by HYDRA. As for Quake, they might be safe as long as they keep her as far away from the infusion chamber as possible.
