Allison told Deadline recently that she had her role in NBC's 2014 live Peter Pan production to thank for landing her part in Get Out.
Jordan Peele, the writer and director of the film, saw her performance as the infamous free-spirited young boy and was sold on her acting skills.

But the actress had zero empathy for her character, Rose, who had a well disguised darkness throughout the film.
‘She's completely, unequivocally an evil person,' Williams said in an interview with Vanity Fair. ‘One of the most evil people. Irredeemable, no good qualities, no asterisks, just evil.’
The social thriller was inspired by Rosemary’s Baby and The Stepford Wives.
