Former "Big Brother" housemate Rebekah Shelton had some choice words after learning that she'd been the victim of a celebrity death hoax.

The TV personality posted a video on her account confirming she was, in fact, alive after someone had used her account to share a message she had died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 10.

"I've been to hell today because someone used my Twitter account to write that stupid status about me," Shelton said in the video. "This person can't accept the fact that I'm happy, that I've overcome all my problems, and that I'm finally living my life happy."

She also wrote in her post that her lawyer "is already working on this, and this person who wants to spoil my happiness is going to pay for it."

Though Shelton said it was a "horrible experience," she was glad to see just how many people truly love and care about her.

Shelton is not the first celebrity to fall victim to a death hoax.
